It’s free for you as an organiser to create free events on Billetto (if you’re not charging for the tickets). If you’re charging a fee or are accepting donations at your event, we charge a small fee that can be included in the ticket price (and deducted from your revenue) or added to the ticket price (passed on the ticket buyer).
There are no monthly charges or subscriptions - you get charged only if you make a sale 3-5 working days after your event has been completed.
There are pricing plans available, depending on the Billetto features you need:
Basic plan
Create any amount of events and tickets. Perfect if you’re just looking for a simple event check-out without customisation.
The fee for paid tickets on the Basic plan is 1.8% + 0,45 € (Italy) ex VAT. There’s no payment processing fee on card transactions through Billetto.
Advanced plan
Advanced plan allows you to use all the same features of the Basic plan but with an added option to customise the check-out for your ticket buyer: ask booking questions, edit the message on the confirmation email, add your own ticket banners and more.
The fee for paid tickets on the Advanced plan is 4.5% + 0,45 € (Italy) ex VAT. There’s no payment processing fee on card transactions through Billetto.
Custom plan
If you have a complex and large event and need to go beyond our standard offering, you can apply for the custom plan. In addition to extra features, we also offer a personal guidance and consultation on how Billetto can work for your event. We will customise the pricing after the consultation.
Free plan
Billetto is always free for free events. We offer a simple free plan if you only have 1 free ticket type offered at your event.
Note: The fees above apply to the events organised on the Billetto Italy. If you’re organising an event outside of Italy and would like to learn more about pricing in a specific locations, please check it here.
Note: If you would like to calculate the price for your specific event & tickets, you can also use our fee calculator here.
If you are a charity with a registered charitable number, please get in contact with us for a discounted rate.
The organiser can choose whether to pass the Billetto fee on to the ticket buyer or to absorb the fee. This option is found in the event creator / edit page under the advanced options for each ticket type (the cog icon).
Passing on the fee
If the organiser chooses to pass the Billetto fee on to the ticket buyer, the buyer pays the price of the ticket and the added Billetto Fee.
Note: As an organiser, if you choose to pass the Billetto Fee on to the ticket buyer, you will see the total sum of sales excluding the Billetto Fee in your Sales Overview.
Absorbing the fee
If the organiser chooses to absorb the fee, the buyer only pays the ticket price set by the organiser. After the ticket sales are over, the Billetto Fee is deducted from the total ticket revenue before it is paid out to the organiser.
Note: As an organiser, if you choose to absorb the Billetto Fee, you will see the total sum of ticket sales and the Billetto Fee in your Sales page in Manage Events.
To be paid out shows the amount you’re actually going to receive (i.e. minus the Billetto Fee). Any Additional services or fees are found within transaction costs.
