With both iOS and Android devices, you have the option to scan your guests in and out. When you are in the ticket scanning mode, you can see the MODE function in the top right corner. If you click on this, you have the option to say scan in or scan out.
If you use both scan in and scan out, in the scan statistics you can keep track of how many people are at the location, how many have left and how many guests you expect to arrive.

You scan by holding the camera over the QR or barcode. Be aware that the light can be crucial to how the scanner works, same with the device. Some lighting can make it not register a scan properly, there may also be rooms where it takes longer to react, but the network can also have an impact. The device can also have a say in how the scan goes.

Note: We do not recommend using email and password for scanning tickets, we recommend that you only use the organizer key. If more than one person is scanning and you use email and password, you may experience that the scanner fails.
