The Organiser/Event key will give you, and those you provide it to, access to scan and sell tickets via our Event Manager, and also our Billetto app.
You can create as many keys as you would like and can limit access in a number of ways.
How to find/change your Organiser key
- Log in to Billetto;
- Click Menu then Box office & Scanning;
- Here you can find or request a new Organiser key.
Limiting Access
If you have some volunteers or employees who you would like to limit access to your account (ex. limiting which events they can interact with), you can do so by creating or editing an existing key.
- Under the “Access
Limiting Options
When creating or editing a key you can limit which options the user can do with your event. The 3 options currently available are:
- Scanning - Allow the user to scan people into the event on your behalf.
- Selling - Allow the use of our box office functionality
- Access to sales data - Allow the user to see revenue and/or tickets sold
Regenerating your Organiser Key will invalidate your old key. This can be useful for security purposes after sharing it with other individuals for previous events.
NOTE: The Organiser key must be used if you are more than one person scanning tickets at the door. You cannot be logged in on the same account to scan. This will cause system issues.
NOTE: If you’re using our web service with a third-party partner to handle your door sales and scanning, it is a good idea to save your organiser key and go directly to Billetto Event Manager by typing in the URL (https://billetto.co.uk/event_manager) in the browser address bar.
